Day 2: Yesterday was a long fun filled day but we were ready for more fun and excitement. First, we enjoyed breakfast at The Middle Beach Lodge Resort (yummy ginger jam!), then off the beaten path to check out a crashed WWII plane. Hey, where did Kim and Carey go???

Then, we went on our ‘Hunter/Gatherer’ expedition to catch our own crab and oysters for dinner. Wow!

Not only was it a memorable experience baiting our own crab traps (see the video here) and picking oysters, but the best part was having a private chef (Brian) cook up an absolutely memorable dining experience - crab sushi, oysters w/shrimp, black cod and of course, crab!! ….oooohhh yah, this is the life!

Day 3 - Unbelievable. In a word, that describes our experience in Tofino. We had an incredible time and enjoyed each other’s company immensely, but now, it’s back to Vancouver and the Barclay House! JJ takes a moment to reflect on the way home.

Not before running into some minor car troubles on the way home. A quick top up on some fluids and we were back on our way.
